The Long Purple variety of eggplant grows to be up to eight to ten inches long . The Long Purple reaches maturity in eighty days and is suitable for grow zones five to twelve. This seed produces club shaped fruit that are 10 inches long by 2 inches in diameter.
  • Days to maturity in 70-80 days. 
  • Planting tips: Sow seeds 1/4" deep indoors, 8 weeks before your last frost date. Then plant germinated plant 2-3 feed apart in rows with 3-4 feet between each row. Harden your plant by placing them outdoors in greenhouse/protective shelve before planting germinated plant. 
  • Tips: Does best in moist soil and full sun.
